Throughout his career, Mike has garnered recognition as a Top Producer from esteemed companies such as Humana, United Healthcare, Milz Health Group, and Aetna, while consistently demonstrating excellence in his field. His dedication and outstanding performance led him to be awarded the title of the “Best Insurance Agent” in 2023 by the DeForest Times Tribune newspaper.
Additionally, Mike has been selected for the prestigious”40 Under 40” class of 2024 by In Business Magazine highlighting his exceptional leadership and outstanding contributions to the industry.
Behind every successful person, there is a wonderful, loving, and supportive partner. Mike wouldn’t be where he is today without the guidance and support of his wife Brianna. Brianna and Mike have been together since 2014 and are the proud parents of two wonderful children. The Mathwegs love travelling, spending weekends at the lake house, and watching movies together.
When Mike isn’t working or spending time with his family, you’ll be able to find him on the golf course. Mike’s passion for the sport of golf began in 2016. Starting out as your typical bogey golfer, Mike has been working his way down to scratch. Mike is very active within his community as he serves as President of his local Chamber of Commerce. Mike is part of the 100 Men of Dane County, an organization that donates over $400,000 annually to charities throughout the community. Mike and his wife (Brianna) partner with local schools and churches to help sponsor families during the holiday season.
